My story

I wasn’t always this healthy and fit. Years ago I was your typical stay at home mom of 3.  I was sleep deprived, overwhelmed, and utterly lacking self care.  I loved being a mom! But over time I sorta lost myself.  I ate poorly, put on weight and became depressed. I needed help. So in 2011, at the age of 43, I made a desperate bid to reclaim my life. I joined a local gym, hired a trainer, and worked hard reverse the damage. Eating well and getting fit was life changing! Not only did I begin to look better, but I felt better, had more energy to take care of my family, I reversed the depression and started gaining confidence. So much confidence, in fact, that I finally had the nerve to chase my life’s dream of becoming a Champion Bodybuilder. For over a decade now I’ve competed in (and won!) bodybuilding competitions around the country. Not surprisingly, my passion for weightlifting quickly led me to pursue fitness as a profession and I became a Certified Personal Trainer. I LOVED being a Personal Trainer! It was so rewarding helping people get fit, but often my clients struggled with health issues I couldn’t solve in the gym. I wanted desperately to change lives and help people get healthy, so at the age of 47, I went back to school to become a Registered Nurse. In 2018 I graduated with a BSN from Oregon Health and Sciences University and began working as a bedside/travel RN. For the past 5 years, I’ve worked in multiple hospitals, on a dozen different floors, and have seen both Western medicine’s strengths and weaknesses. Hospitals focus on diagnosing illnesses, prescribing meds, and performing surgeries instead of prioritizing prevention or empowering people to take control of their health. I knew there had to be a better way. So once again, back to school, I went. After a year of rigorous training under Dr. Josh Axe, I have now become a Certified Functional Nutrition Health Coach (check out my blog to learn what Functional Nutrition is all about), and launched this…  my very own health and fitness business!
“I am absolutely thrilled with my weight loss transformation journey, and I can’t thank my dedicated coach enough for their support and guidance. Before starting this journey, I struggled with my weight and felt frustrated with my appearance. But with their expert advice and personalized plan, I was able to achieve remarkable results.

My Philosophy

  • It’s all about you.  My job is to listen and identify your goals, struggles, fears, and needs. Let’s sort it out, make a plan, and get you the life-changing results you deserve.

  • One size does not fit all.  All my programs are custom designed. I will meet you where you’re at and write a program for your specific goals, schedule, budget, and life.

  • We are in this together. You are not alone. I will bring my expertise, encouragement, and accountability! You get the commitment. Whatever the challenges are in your path, we will overcome them together!

  • I want to EMPOWER you! My goal is to bring you a lifetime of health and success, but since I won’t be by your side forever (boo), I want to empower you to do it on your own. Thru education, encouragement, and relationship, I want to teach you you can do this!
